Everyone loves a good plate of chilli and this super-lean, healthy bacon and turkey chilli recipe is a total winner that the whole family will love! Time to get on it like a car bonnet (which won't make any sense to our American readers).

This turkey chilli recipe was an accident. It was one of those ‘right, what do I have in the fridge’ recipes that was thrown together in a hurry but the outcome exceeded any expectations. The secret is this smoked chilli paste, add it to any dish and you know you’re onto a winner. If you can’t get any, although you can easily get it here on Amazon, you could use chilli flakes instead but you’re going to be missing that beautify smoked chilli taste.
Turkey mince recipes can be a bit dull on their own so we threw some smoked bacon into the mix to give it a little more of a smoky meaty flavour. If you don’t want to use any beer for this you can easily use the same amount of stock instead. You could also throw in some kidney beans or black beans too if you wanted to boost the protein content and make the dish go a little further. If you're a chilli fan then don't forget to give our low-carb chilli con carne recipe a go too, it's another winner!
