 500 g beef mince
 1 tbsp olive oil
 1 red pepper, chopped
 6 bacon medallions, chopped
 1 tbsp mixed herbs
 500 g pork mince
 1 onion, chopped
 1 green pepper, chopped
 2 tbsp tomato puree
 50 g lighter cheddar cheese
1

To make the Meatza you'll need pre-heat an oven to 230 degrees Celsius.

2

To make the Meatza base (basically a giant burger), you have to combine the pork and beef mince in a large mixing bowl. Get your hands in and make sure it's all nicely mushed together.

3

Flatten out the meat mixture on a baking tray so it covers the tray and is around 2-3cm thick then place the Meatza base in the oven for around 15 Minutes until the juices run clear and it's cooked through.

4

While the base is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large frying pan on a medium heat and cook the onions, peppers and bacon medallions for 10 Minutes until cooked through. Once done, set aside.

5

Remove the Meatza base from the oven, drain any liquid if necessary then cover with the tomato puree and spread it out, just like you would on any normal pizza.

6

Add the cooked bacon, onions and peppers on top, scatter the mixed herbs then sprinkle a thin layer of the cheese over everything then place under a grill for 5 Minutes for the cheese to melt before serving.
