It’s a new year and there’s been lots of new books published that we loved.
In this article we’ve listed our favourite nutrition and fitness books (in no particular order).
They are thoughtful, evidence-based, interesting, informative and well-written.

Eat Well, Move Better And Feel Awesome
John Chapman and Leon Bustin (a.k.a The Lean Machines) are personal trainers and popular YouTube stars. They’ve also been on our podcast back on episode 62 where share some of their favourite ‘Awesomeness Tools’ featured in the book.

In this refreshingly honest slap in the face, Mark Manson says: “Let’s be honest, shit is f**ked and we have to live with it.”
You’ve probably guessed it already, this isn’t a nutrition book….
Manson is a popular internet blogger who argues that improving our lives centres on us getting to know our limitations and accepting them.
As he puts it: “not everybody can be extraordinary, there are winners and losers in society, and some of it is not fair or your fault”.
Human beings are deeply flawed, and only in embracing our flaws will we find the courage, perseverance, honesty, responsibility, curiosity, and forgiveness we seek.
We all have to do what we can with what we have.
Apply this to your fitness journey and you may come to realise that not everyone will have the body of a Greek god, but who gives a f*ck?!
