Bolognese cooked in the slow cooker is an easy way to create a very rich, delicious, high protein meal.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and cook the bacon, onions and garlic for around 5 minutes.
Add the mince to the frying pan and brown, drain any excess fat.
Tip everything from the frying pan into the slow cooker and add all of the remaining ingredients.
Mix through, cover and cook on low for around 6 hours.
